International Tour Essentials
In about 4 days, we are doing a full International run for 8 weeks. We start in Europe/UK, fly from Italy straight to Soundwave Festivals in Australia followed by 4 dates in South East Asia. I have yet to do 75% of these places. I am excited.
Here is my essential pack list. (No cords pictured). I’ve learned from my first run in Australia / even in the states, to pack as light as possible. I am mainly there to take photos, behind the scenes as well as live photos. Indirectly, I get laced into taking videos which I enjoy as well but photography is my main focus as I never promote my video work at all.
Packing light, and working with what you have is my best bet. You don’t need 20 lenses, or 5 flashes. A lot of my work is candid so it’s not like a lot of stuff is being set up. If we ever do need to do a promotional photoshoot, I will rent studio gear from a friend/local camera shop.
