A little teaser from a photo shoot I did with Mayday Parade on the GK Tour for a magazine. We used projectors, smoke machines and walls. It is one of my favorite shoots with the band to this day, which is awesome. Can’t wait to release the photos when they get published.
The idea came from trying to do something completely out of the box than any other shoot we’ve ever done. The projectors and smoke machines are being used on the tour for the bands production and we took advantage of it. For this shoot, I mainly used my 85mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.4 because I had very little space and only used natural light and wanted to keep the images as sharp as possible. It is funny I did not use any strobes or external flashes for this shoot as well. The projector gave off so much light and awesome shadows that I didn’t want to have more lighting involved. All images are going to be presented in black and white, which I am very excited about.
